Exam Instructions:

Please remember the following instructions:-

  1. Exam Window: 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  2. Duration: 110 Minutes (Timed Exam), Break down: 90 minutes (Actual time) + 20 minutes (buffer time) [Actual time allocated to solve your answers is 90 minutes. But keeping the fact that the process of submission may take some time and internet may slow down, an extra 20 minutes are given]
  3. Date: Section 1: 27/9/2020 (Day 3), Section 4: 26/9/2020 (Day 2)
  4. Total Marks: 30
  5. Exam Platform: buX
  6. Your Final Exam is a 2-parts Exam.

Part 1: Broad Questions (20 marks): Consist of 2 broad questions; each question will carry 10 marks. Each question will have multiple sections [Ex. a) b) c)]. There will be a combination of quantitative and conceptual questions.

*** Part 1 questions must be answered “Handwritten”. Write answers in paper, take picture of your workings, insert them into word file, convert them in pdf file and finally submit it into the designated folder in buX. You must write your name at the top of each page of your handwritten script.

  • Before submitting your answer, make sure your images are clear and visible.
  • Rename your pdf file this way,” Your ID_Full name (Ex. “20103454_Samiul Anis)”

Part 2: Short questions (10 marks): Consist of two short questions, each carrying 5 marks. There will be no option. Unlike Part 1, you have to answer it in open response assessment in buX.

7. Students must fill in a “student honor code” form, a “Cover page” and attach them with the Part 1 (pdf file). You are strongly suggested to get these two prepared before the exam begins.

***If you face any Technical issue (Ex. file size too large, internet failure) you must meet your faculty immediately through the google meet link and show faculty your issue by sharing your computer screen. You must let your faculty know about your issue live through google meet at least 10 minutes before your exam ends. After that, we cannot solve your issue. No request will be entertained after this time.

Dear Students of Section 1 & 4,

Following instructions are essential for the final exam. Therefore, it is a humble request that you go through each and every point very carefully and know every single instruction by heart. Failure to complying with these protocols will lead to reduction of marks or in worse case rejection of your script submission. 

 FIN 301 (Section 1)

Date of Final Exam: 27/9/2020 (Day 3)  

Exam Platform: buX

Question type: There will be a combination of quantitative and conceptual questions.

Marks: Total 30

Exam Window: 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Exam Duration: 110 Minutes; Timed Exam [It is essential that you completely understand the breakdown of Exam duration. Actual time allocated to solve your answers is 90 minutes. But keeping the fact that the process of submission may take some time and internet may slow down, an extra 20 minutes are given. So if you start the exam at 8.00 AM you should finish by 9:30 PM, but the submission folder will still remain visible until 9:50 so that you have adequate time to submit your file]

So Exam Duration= 90 Minutes + buffer time (20 Minutes) = 110 Minutes.

 

FIN 301 (Section 4)

Date of Final Exam: 26/9/2020 (Day 2)  

Exam Platform: buX

Question type: There will be a combination of quantitative and conceptual questions.

Marks: Total 30

Exam Window: 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  4. Stock Valuation
  5. Risk and Return
  6. Working Capital Management

Exam Instructions:

  •   Math questions will be partially marked.
  • Answers will be handwritten.  After Answering all question do following steps-

-          Take picture of your answers

-          Put images into a Microsoft word file

-          Add a cover page (Your Name, ID & Section)

-          Convert the doc file into Pdf (follow the video “Exam submission Instruction”)

-          Rename your Pdf file this way,”Your ID_Full name (Ex. “20103454_Samiul Anis)

-      Submit your Pdf file into your designated folder in buX. 

  •   You must write your name at the top of each page of your handwritten script. Otherwise your script will not be accepted.
  •  Before submitting your answer, make sure your images are clear and visible. No excuses will be entertained this time if they are not visible. 
  •     This time I will not accept any script through email unless a student provides sufficient evidence of any technical problem. You must join the google meet link (that will be provided before the exam) to screen share the problem being encountered immediately during the exam window. Failure to comply with this rule in case of any technical problem will compel me to reject your script.
