Dear Students of FIN 301 Section - 3,
A big congratulations to all of you on coming to the end of this FIN 301 journey. I sincerely appreciate and acknowledge your hard work, endurance, and cooperation. I have already provided you a detailed guideline before including time (exam window plus duration), syllabus, marks distribution, and other important things. Here I am providing you some updated instructions that must be kept in mind before starting the exam. These long instructions are written to keep you safe from sudden panicking situations during the exam and make your final exam experience smoother.

Date: 1 October 2020 (Thursday)

Exam Duration: 100 Minutes. 90 Minutes for writing and scanning your answer scripts (A4 Paper must for visibility) and 10 minutes for attaching the file on buX. No request will be entertained this time if you fail to attach your file timely. Don’t wait for the last few minutes to attach your file.

Exam Window: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. (After 5 pm you cannot see the question or submit your answer. If you want to enjoy the full duration you must start your exam within 3:20 pm)

Exam Pattern: There will be a combination of quantitative and conceptual questions. You have to scan your answer scripts and submit the scanned pdf on buX. For scanning the file and making pdf easily you have to follow this approach shown in this video. You have already successfully submitted your graded homework following this video and got feedback from me about your scanned homework. Follow those instructions thoroughly in the final exam.

Submission Method: You need to know beforehand (If you do not yet) how to share your screen using google meet. There is a very small chance that you cannot upload your pdf file on buX. If you face this type of issue you must meet me through this link and must show me that you have at least 5 minutes left for submitting your answer and buX is not accepting your file. Then I will provide you the permission to email me your file before your exam duration ends. Without showing proof in this way and without getting permission from me your script won’t be accepted and you will get a direct zero in your final exam. So be very careful. You must have a backup internet connection.

You must have a standard cover page (handwritten). You cannot start your answer from the cover page. You must mention your name and ID at the top of each page of your handwritten answer. Like your answer, the name, and ID on each page must be handwritten. No marks will be provided if you fail to follow this instruction.

You must rename your pdf file in this format “Your ID_Your Name_FIN301_Sec3_Final Exam” or “25201236_Md. Shezanur Rahman_FIN301_Sec3_Final Exam”. If you fail to rename the file properly, I cannot separate your answer and hence you will not get any marks. Before submitting your answer, make sure your images are clear and visible. Follow the tutorial again to know how to make your images more clear. No excuses will be entertained if your writings are not visible.

To save your valuable time in the exam and to reduce the chances of error in scanning your answer script, it is recommended that you staple approximately 10 blank A4 pages together where the first page will be the cover page (the cover page should be filled up before the exam starts). This will not only save your time but also make sure that you do not forget to properly scan your pages sequentially and do not miss any pages during scanning.
